Parenting Coordinator

As a Parenting Coordinator, Dr. Manfredi-Giammona assists parents in the resolution of parenting conflicts as it relates to their child(ren).  When there is high conflict between parents, Dr. Manfredi-Giammona helps to refocus the parents' negative communication patterns regarding co-parenting towards a more open solution-focused communication that prioritizes the best interest of their child(ren).  

 

The parenting coordinator can be appointed by the court or requested by the parents. When the court appoints a parenting coordinator, there are specifications and guidelines regarding the role of the parenting coordinator’s ability to arbitrate between the parents when they are not able to reach a co-parenting agreement.
